Custom business software: a clear path for anyone commissioning software.
Custom software development means building software, from scratch or on a ready-made core, for a job that off-the-shelf programs don’t cover. At Pirdir, the project is first clarified in a 10-day discovery; no code is written before you’ve seen a clickable prototype, and the price is given to you itemised and in writing.

Depends on scope, set out in the quote

Today the software idea lives in an email thread, three different quotes and a screen sketched on a napkin. In Pirdir, it’s one written scope.

A piece of software’s path from requirements to live
As you scroll, the project moves on to the next stage.
Requirements
We listen to your business, and what the software must solve is written down point by point.
Design
The screens are drawn as a clickable prototype and we walk through them together before any code is written.
Code
The approved prototype is developed, and integrations and rules are set up.
Screens and launch
The software goes live with your data, and your team is trained.
How we work
Before any code is written, we look together at what we’ll build, how long it will take and what it will cost.

Dashboards, portals and business apps that run in the browser.
Mobile access
Phone-friendly screens, and a store app if needed.
Integrations
Accounting, e-invoicing, marketplaces, shipping and other systems.
Security and backups
Permissions, audit trail, EU servers and daily backups.
Maintenance
Regular development for updates, support and new needs.
Who is custom software development for?
It isn’t for everyone. We also spell out when it won’t fit, so nobody wastes time on a call.
A good fit
You may not need it
Set up alongside it
They connect to the same core and share customers, documents and users.
See the software before it’s coded.
In discovery you get a clickable prototype and a written quote in 10 working days. Even if you don’t go ahead, the prototype is yours to keep.
Custom software development: common questions
Ask anything not covered here on the call, and we’ll send the answer in writing too.
How long does custom software take?
It depends on the scope. Projects set up on the Pirdir core are usually finished in 3–6 weeks, while software built from scratch takes longer; the timeline is written into the quote after discovery.
Who keeps the source code?
It’s stated in writing in the quote. For solutions set up on the core, the core stays with Pirdir, and the status of the parts developed specially for you and of the data is set out separately.
What happens if I don’t go ahead after discovery?
Discovery costs €490; the prototype and process map are yours to keep, and you can continue with another team. If you go ahead with the project, this amount is deducted from the setup.
Who develops the software?
Anıl and Hatice, the founders you meet on the call, build the software, and the team grows with the size of the project. Work isn’t outsourced, and if it ever is, that’s written into the quote.
How much does custom software development cost?
It depends on the scope, so a fixed list price wouldn’t be honest. Discovery and prototype cost €490 and take 10 working days, and at the end you get an itemised written quote. If your needs can be met with the Pirdir core, setup starts at €2,900 and takes noticeably less time than software built from scratch.
Let’s hear about your business in 20 minutes.
The call is free. By the end you’ll know which route the project should take, how long it will take and how discovery will go.

On the call you’ll speak with Anıl and Hatice. They are also the ones who build your software.
