Does the software track where employees are?
Not by default. If you want location checks at clock-in, only the location at that moment is recorded, and employees must be informed about this under the GDPR.
Does the software calculate payroll?
No. Pirdir provides the timesheet, overtime and leave as an export ready for payroll; payroll is calculated by your accountant or your payroll software.
Does it work with our card reader or fingerprint device?
If a device that works with cards, PINs or QR codes can export its data, we connect it; how each device connects is settled during discovery from its documentation. We don’t set up time tracking with fingerprints or face recognition: under the GDPR, biometric data used to identify people is a special category of personal data, and European regulators have fined employers for fingerprint time clocks (the Dutch data protection authority fined one company €725,000 in 2020).
Is annual leave entitlement calculated?
Yes. Annual leave entitlement is set by contract or length of service, and leave used and remaining shows on the employee’s record.
How is the price worked out?
It’s made up of a one-off setup fee and a monthly usage fee per user. Setup starts at €2,900 and includes the core and two modules; each extra module is €650. Usage is €24 per user per month, with a minimum of 5 users. Prices are in euros and exclude VAT; the final price is confirmed in writing after discovery.
