Business web applications: dashboards, portals and back-office apps that run in the browser.

Web applications run in the browser with nothing to install: customer and dealer portals, admin dashboards, application and booking systems. Pirdir builds web applications connected to your business data; not brochure websites, but screens that get work done.

How we work

Before any code is written, we look together at what we’ll build, how long it will take and what it will cost.

20 minutesIntroductory callFree, 20 minutes. We listen to your business and the problem, and if we’re not the right fit, we tell you that too.

Who is web application development for?

It isn’t for everyone. We also spell out when it won’t fit, so nobody wastes time on a call.

A good fit

Businesses that want to offer customers or dealers a portal
Anyone collecting forms and applications by email
Anyone who wants to move work that runs in spreadsheets into a web app

You may not need it

Anyone who only wants a brochure website; that’s a job for a web design agency
Anyone looking for a high-traffic e-commerce site

Let’s move your forms into a portal.

On the call we talk about what your users need to do. In discovery you see a clickable prototype of the portal.

Web application development: common questions

Ask anything not covered here on the call, and we’ll send the answer in writing too.

What’s the difference between a web application and a website?

A website is for presenting your business. A web application is where users log in and get things done: applications, orders, tracking, payments.

Does it run on our own domain?

Yes. It’s published at an address such as portal.yourcompany.com, with your brand.

Does it work on phones too?

Yes. The screens are designed for phones too, and once added to the home screen they open like an app.

Can it take payments?

Yes, with a payment provider connection; the payment is posted to the related record.

How much does custom software development cost?

It depends on the scope, so a fixed list price wouldn’t be honest. Discovery and prototype cost €490 and take 10 working days, and at the end you get an itemised written quote. If your needs can be met with the Pirdir core, setup starts at €2,900 and takes noticeably less time than software built from scratch.

Let’s hear about your business in 20 minutes.

The call is free. By the end you’ll know which route the project should take, how long it will take and how discovery will go.
